In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:
*Are enrolled full-time (or taking a full course load, as defined by the program or department) in
one of the approved academic programs; AS Biology/Pre-Nursing, AAS Medical Assisting, AAS Generic Nursing Education, AAS Dental Assisting, AAS Emergency Medical Services EMT/Paramedic, AAS Human Services, BSN Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Minimum 2.0 GPA
- Must have demonstrated financial need
- Permanent residents of the Foundation’s eight-counties: Atascosa, Bandera, Bexar, Comal, Guadalupe, Kendall, Medina, or Wilson
- Intend to remain in – or return to – the Foundation’s eight county service area following graduation
- Priority given to students who are first-generation or students who graduated from one of the following key school districts: East Central, Edgewood, Harlandale, San Antonio, Somerset, South San Antonio, Southside, Southwest.
