In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

  • Major in Education, Teacher
  • Must have financial need
  • GPA 3.00
  • Must be enrolled full time
  • Have completed one full year at NVC
  • Participate in Alamo Colleges 2+2 Transfer program or Joint Admission program
  • Participate in academic and career counseling at NVC
  • Demonstrate a commitment to community volunteerism
  • Intend to become a teacher in the K-12 school system
  • Competitive Scholarship— Foundation Application Required
*All criteria must be met in order to receive renewal scholarship award.
