NVC Faculty and Staff Scholarship

Northwest Vista College
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Any major
• Must have financial need
• GPA 2.70
• Must be enrolled at least part time (6+ hours)
• Must have completed a high school diploma or its equivalent before Fall 2016
• Must have earned/completed at least 12 credit hours at a US accredited college or university before applying for the scholarship
• Must be a US citizen or legal permanent resident with a permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551
• Must have a permanent residence for 5 or more consecutive years and have a permanent address in one of the following 31 counties:
  Aransas, Bee, Brewster, Brooks, Cameron, Culberson, Duval, El Paso, Goliad, Hidalgo, Hudspeth, Jeff Davis, Jim Hogg, Jim Wells,
  Karnes, Kenedy, Kelberg, Ls Salle, Live Oak, McMullen, Nueces, Pecos, Presidio, Reeves, Refugio, San Patricio, Starr, Terrell, Webb, Willacy or Zapata
