In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Any major
• Must be financial aid eligible
• GPA 2.50
• Be enrolled full time or part time
• Must be a resident of the 78212 zip code
• Must complete the FAFSA
• Must participate in mentoring/outreach activities at the Empowerment Center (minimum 2 hours per week during the hours of 8:00 a.m.—5:00 p.m. M-F.
• Submit a letter of recommendation from an employer, professor, or counselor; may be interviewed for scholarship
• Submit a 500 word essay
