In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following criteria:

• Major in American Sign Language, Interpreter Training, or Deaf Support Specialist
• GPA 3.00
• Enrolled full time or part time
• Pass all parts of the Department of American Sign Language and Interpreter Training Mid-Program Exam with a score of 80% or higher (on first attempt)
• Submit 2 letters of recommendation, which must come from individuals outside of the ASL/IT department
• Submit a signed videotape or labeled electronic recording that demonstrates his/her American Sign Language skills and addresses why he/she has chosen the filed and what are his/her professional goals
• Competitive Scholarship— Foundation Application Required
