Neil & Elaine Griffin Foundation Endowed Kerrville Opportunity Scholarship
This is a 4-semester (2-year) scholarship:
In order to be eligible for this scholarship, you must meet the following:- Any major
- Must have financial need
- GPA 2.5 minimum
- Be enrolled full time or part time
- Must be residents of Kerr, Bandera, Kendall, Gillespie or Kimble County, Texas, with preference given to Kerr County applicants
- Must initially attend at least one class at the Greater Kerrville Alamo College Center in Kerrville, Texas
- May be attending any of the Alamo Colleges in addition to the one class at the Center in Kerrville, Texas
- Submit an associate’s or baccalaureate degree plan
- Student applicants must certify they have received counseling or advisement in their application package.
- Submit Certification Form to the Kerrville Center representative
This scholarship can be renewed to continue at a four-year institution in the State of Texas, as long as eligibility criteria are maintained and the recipient has completed 60 hours at the Alamo Colleges. This transfer amount is up to $20,000.
*Please note: You must meet the scholarship criteria and Standards of Academic Progress, or the scholarship may not be renewable.
