Alamo Colleges Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Alamo Colleges. Our focus is scholarships — life-changing gifts that help students come in and stay in and achieve their dreams of a college education. Scholarship eligibility is based on various factors such as academic merit, program of study, community service, extracurricular activities, residency, campus/club organization, and/or financial need. Foundation scholarships are awarded and administered without regard to race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin. All students are invited to apply for available scholarships.

You will submit one General Scholarship Application to be considered for all Alamo Colleges Foundation Scholarships.

2024-2025 General Scholarship Application:
Applies to Enrollment for Fall 2024, Spring 2025, and/or Summer 2025 semesters
Opens: January 15, 2024
Closes: May 15, 2024 (specific scholarship opportunities that open AFTER the deadline will be listed below as they become available)

The scholarship application will reopen from September 16 to September 30, and allows new applicants access to a limited number of remaining opportunities for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Additional scholarship opportunities may arise, each with their own requirements and deadlines. These will be listed below throughout the academic year. All students (domestic, international or DACA) are invited to apply for the scholarships available. Scholarship eligibility is based on various factors such as academic merit, financial need, program of study, community service, extracurricular activities, residency, and/or participation in campus clubs or organizations.

If you are a previous applicant or want to be considered for a scholarship renewal, you must apply again for 2024-2025 academic year funding.

Please note that you are required to be enrolled or admitted at the Alamo Colleges to apply for scholarships on this website. Incoming students will start the admission process by completed their ApplyTexas application at www.applytexas.org to receive your ACES credentials.

Next steps:

• Once you submit your scholarship application, you will receive confirmation to your ACES email certifying you have successfully submitted your application.
• Scholarship recipient selections begin after the application deadline and continue throughout the academic year.
• Students selected to receive a scholarship will be notified through ACES email and will be required to accept their award within two weeks of notification.
• To be considered for any need based scholarships, complete and submit the 2024-2025 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at https://studentaid.gov/
